Professional Electrician's Program
PEP is an IEC Certification for experienced electricians. It is a 2-year program with a curriculum designed to refresh and teach all related theory and NEC requirements and to broaden knowledge of the trade and technology changes. The PEP program is for the experienced electrician with a minimum of 5 years of certifiable experience in the electrical trade and who is considered a journeyman by the current employer. If taken in a series, four per year, the program leads to certification as a journeyman with IEC and enables electricians to upgrade their abilities and stay on the cutting edge of the industry.
The PEP curriculum is divide into four sections. Jourenymen may enter the program at the beginning of any of the sections and may take only one class at a a time. An overview of the curriculum and the course material used is provided below.
